Lessons learned

The first lesson of the day...Marine Corps Base Camp Smith.... Just because the number is painted on the side of the building does not mean that is the building number! Silly me!!!

Every building has only secure access.... it was insane...and when the power went out in the building we were in, everyone just sat in thier offices with thier feet up on the desk.... WOW! was all I could say...

Lesson #2- Even when you walk into (what you think) is the first level of a building... it may not be! I walked in to the ground level and was on the 3rd floor.... don't ask me cause I don't even know.... LOL!

All is well....

So the emotional breakdown has finally happened! I found myself laying in the dark... in the quiet... of the night when normal people are sleeping..... and it started in the form of a fight....not a knock down drag out fight, just a communication break down....and the conversation turned to teary eyes, and teary eyes turned to sobbing.... incesent sobbing...... to which my wonderful husband asks me why it sounds like I have allergies.... and I respond... "I don't know maybe cause I have been crying for the last hour!!!!!!!!" but alas....Balance has finally been restored to my life in the form of a well organized morning.... Everything went better than I planned this morning... only possibly orchestrated by " The MAN upstairs". The next couple of days will be spent loving on my family and soaking them up as much as I can.... :)

My life

My life is a 3x5 index card.... Things that have been crossed off and things that are yet to be done. Somewhere on the index card, I am going to write my own name, because as a human... (I was reminded by my best friend) that I need to take some time for myself, and for my family.
I have this fear that the large stack of index cards is going to get lost or fly out of my hands as I chase it down the street. So I will pray...
Father, keep me sane, keep me grounded, and dunk me in your joy!
